84% of companies plan to switch to Russian cybersecurity tools in 2023. These include anti-virus software (38%), VPN gateways (19%), web application security systems (15%), database security systems (14%), DLP systems (13%) and IdM systems (11%). This information is provided by RTC-Solar, the specialists of which have interviewed more than 100 representatives of Russian companies and public sector organizations in Moscow, St. Petersburg and other regions.
At the beginning of the year, foreign security tools prevailed in commercial companies. In half of the organizations (51%), the percentage of Russian cybersecurity products was less than 15%. However, in a third of public sector organizations (33%), Russian solutions accounted for more than 60% of the of security tools.
Analysts also point out that during the switch to Russian security tools, companies are faced with an increase in their prices and delivery delays.
