Russia will create a cloud solution for interactions with IT-industry

The Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko noted that a special cloud solution was being created to organize interaction with IT companies. It will be used as the main platform for working out measures of state support for the industry. This was reported by Kommersant with reference to information from an online meeting of the Deputy Prime Minister with representatives of IT industry.

According to the sources mentioned in the publication, Bitrix24 company is developing the solution. The company did not confirm this information.

During the meeting, industry representatives presented proposals for state support measures. They discussed subsidizing up to 50% of the cost of supplementary education in the field of digital competencies on commercial online platforms, as well as establishing an online support platform for schools based on public-private partnerships.

Dmitry Chernyshenko gave the Ministry of Telecom and Mass Communications and the relevant federal authorities a task to form a “road map” for the implementation of the proposed initiatives.
