The Russian chip for Troika is undergoing final testing carried out by the manufacturer, MSP LLC. After testing, large-scale production will be launched.

According to Maksim Liksutov, the Head of the Moscow Department for Transport and Road Infrastructure Development, the use of the new chip will not affect the functionality of the card.

All options of Troika will be available, while the new ones will be added (the function of adding various services). The contract with the chip manufacturer will be extended for five years.
