Russian Government to Cover 50% of Private Industrial Technology Parks’ Costs

Private industrial technology parks will be able to count on additional government support from 2022, compensating up to 50% of the costs for creating or modernizing the infrastructure of facilities, connecting to utility networks, purchasing equipment, as well as repaying loans.

The government clarified that only those parks that are located in geostrategic territories, in regions implementing individual development programs, as well as in single-industry towns will receive subsidies.

Moreover, the amount of maximum support will be up to $203.600 (15 million rubles) per 1 hectare of an industrial park. As for technology parks, their management companies will be able to receive $800 (60 thousand rubles) for 1 sq. m of the total area of buildings.

Currently there are more than 250 private industrial and industrial technoparks already operating or being created. In total, there are over 360 sites for the implementation of industrial projects.
