According to Deputy Prime Minister Dmitriy Chernyshenko, the National AI Development Center will become the key platform for selecting AI solutions for business, scientific organizations and the government. The center will carry out the monitoring of AI development indicators and examine the documents in the field of regulation.

The center will also update the industry readiness index for AI, provide expert support for the implementation of technology, and develop ai.gov.ru, the national AI portal.

Sergey Nakvasin will become the director the center. Earlier he held the positions of deputy head of the Analytical Center of the Russian Government and deputy general director of ANO Digital Economy.
