According to data.ai (App Annie), on March 7, Russian apps ЯRUS (YaRUS) and TenChat were included in the list of the most downloaded social networks on the iOS platform in Russia.

On March 10, TenChat was ranked second in the social networks category, overtaking VKontakte and WhatsApp, while ЯRUS was ranked fifth. Telegram is the leader in terms of the number of downloads. In the overall ranking of apps, social networks were in 14 and 32 places, respectively.

On March 3, ЯRUS app entered the top ten most downloaded social networks on the Android platform. A week later, it rose to the second place in the ranking, and was ranked 12th among all applications. TenChat was ranked 13th among social networks.

Experts from AI Ti Servis (ЯRUS developer) specify that they are “developing services that can replace YouTube, Tik-Tok, Twitter and Instagram in one app”. At the moment, more than 2 million users are registered on the platform, and since February 25 the peak number of downloads per day has exceeded 120 thousand.

TenChat’s spokesperson said the app had been originally positioned as an alternative to LinkedIn. Today, TenChat has more than 300,000 registered users. The company expects that the number of active users will increase to “several million” by the end of spring.
