Russian Tech Companies to Get Up to $2.5 Million to Finalize Products

Russian technology companies will be able to receive grants to finalize their products to meet the requirements of large customers, according to the government's decree.

The government aid will range from $250,000 to $2.5 million (25-250 million rubles), and will be provided for a period of up to three years, according to the decree approved by the government.

Funds will be provided to the companies whose projects are implemented using 5G, artificial intelligence, quantum sensors, a new generation of microelectronics and other technologies. Moreover, the projects must be implemented within a period of not more than six years upon receipt of funds. Support is provided as part of the federal project ‘Ascent from Startup to IPO’.
