The development team of SberDevices is creating an autonomous infrastructure for the Sber smart home platform. The infrastructure will be independent of foreign services and is based on the company’s own cloud. Specialists also planned to develop a line of devices with new firmware for stable operation.

New devices will still be controlled using Salute virtual assistants and Salute application. The key feature of the update will be a complete transition to SberCloud servers located in different regions of the country. The company’s experts clarify that this change will distribute the load and help eliminate interruptions in the operation of the platform if a problem occurs in one of the data centers, and will also make the functioning of the platform completely independent of foreign partners.
