Sberbank's international R&D center will start operating in the first quarter of 2022.
The research center will be located in Berlin and will need regulatory approval before opening. The center will focus on attracting IT developers, architects and machine learning specialists from different countries.
It is expected that specialists will work on Sber's technological ideas, including the products and services of SberDevices, SberCloud and SberAutoTech.

Earlier, Sberbank reported that the revenue of its non-financial business in the third quarter of 2021 grew 2.6 times year-on-year to $668 million (47.6 billion rubles). Revenue for nine months on the same balance sheet item increased to $1.7 billion (121.7 billion rubles), which is 2.8 times higher compared to the same period in 2020.
