Skolkovo tested dedicated airspace for driverless flights using digital platform Nebosvod from the Aeroscript company (St. Petersburg).

As part of the testing, services for integrating drones into the common airspace of RuSPACE were worked out. They are related to the authorization and planning of flights, electronic identification, monitoring and control of ongoing flights, provision of aeronautical and meteorological information.

According to the developers, "in the future, it is planned to automate the system completely and remove a person from the flight control loop."

The tests were carried out as part of the urban air mobility project, implemented jointly with the Moscow government and the Moscow Innovation Cluster.
