In 2022, Russian cybersecurity market may grow by 20% year-on-year and reach 150.1 billion rubles (2.4 billion dollars) according to the research by TAdviser. Last year this figure was 125.1 billion rubles (1.99 billion dollars) with 16% growth.
According to the analysts, the market growth can increase in 2022 due to the “acceleration of the import substitution trend caused by the departure of foreign market participants”. Among the other factors are increased attention of the country top leaders to cybersecurity issues, high-profile security incidents occurrence and possible imposing of tougher penalties for them”.
