Technopolis Moscow took first place in the V National rating of investment attractiveness of the Special Economic Zones (SEZ) of Russia. It was noted in the nomination for the best special economic zone of technology-innovative type. The rating was compiled at the end of 2020 and includes a study of the results of the work of 27 SEZs.
According to the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations Vladimir Efimov, SEZ residents increased investments in their projects by the end of 2020 by 30%, to $120,1 million (8.9 billion rubles).
The top three leaders in the same nomination included Dubna and Innopolis. The top 5 also included Istok.
At the same time, the Moscow Region SEZ Stupino Kvadrat took fourth place in the ranking among the special economic zones of industrial port and port type. The best SEZs in this category were Alabuga (Republic of Tatarstan), Lipetsk (Lipetsk region), and Ulyanovsk (Ulyanovsk region).
