The Government of the Russian Federation has prepared a decree simplifying the registration of software products for medical devices and devices, including those using artificial intelligence technologies. This was announced by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

These include software for devices and products that are used in the diagnosis of oncological diseases, as well as in surgery for monitoring the condition of elderly patients or rehabilitation.

The prepared resolution establishes an accelerated one-stage procedure for registration of such software products for medical devices. This will make it possible to quickly apply innovative developments in medical treatment.
