The number of smart practices in the healthcare sector has increased by 60% in the world in the first nine months of this year. The largest increase in implemented projects was demonstrated by the “Digital Government” category - 130%. The decline in the introduction of smart practices was observed in the “Ecology” category, which was the leader in terms of the number of projects last year. The DIT of Moscow has drawn such conclusions after analyzing international smart practices from January to September.

Experts also note that since the beginning of the year the number of projects in the field of mobility has significantly increased, and there has been an increase in the number of initiatives related to autonomous vehicles testing. Singapore and Seoul are the leaders in introducing smart practices in the urban life.

In total, 17 cities of the world and 192 projects with the participation of city authorities were studied during the monitoring. Moscow was not included in this list due to the affiliation of the analysts who conducted the research to the Moscow IT department and the possible distortion of results due to this fact.
