VK Group (formerly Mail.ru Group) has released the company's financial results for the third quarter of 2021.

The aggregate net profit increased by 41% year-on-year to $54.4 million (3.86 billion rubles). Segment revenue for the reporting period increased by 19% year-on-year to 30.41 billion rubles.

The net loss amounted to $19.3 million (1.37 billion rubles) against $5.8 million (415 million rubles), including:

• JV with Sber in the field of transport and food — $54.6 million (3.88 billion rubles) against $41.7 million (2.96 billion rubles) in the third quarter of 2020;
• JV with AliExpress Russia — $17 million (1.21 billion rubles) against $2.2 million (162 million rubles) in the third quarter of 2020;
• educational platform Uchi.ru — $1.5 million (113 million rubles).
