Russian President Vladimir Putin has instructed the Russian government to ratify a Federal project "Artificial intelligence". As a result of the meeting on the development of information and communication technologies and communications, which took place on June 10, the President issued an instruction to the government to "take exhaustive measures to approve a separate Federal project "Artificial intelligence", providing the necessary funding, including from the Federal budget funds provided for the implementation of the national program "Digital economy of the Russian Federation" (the implementation period is until August 31, 2020).

The government was also instructed to work on the issue of "developing a set of measures to promote the introduction of innovative software, including artificial intelligence technologies, into the activities of medical organizations" (until August 3, 2020).
