Online retailer Wildberries reported that it had fixed more than 90% of errors in the operation of its website and app. The company’s experts clarified that the remaining errors would be eliminated in soon.
According to Downdetector, the number of errors in the operation of application and the site by the morning of March 16 decreased 16-fold compared to March 14. The company has conducted an internal investigation of the incident and will provide law enforcement agencies with the information from the investigation.
Wildberries also noted that “the IT infrastructure was not affected, frontend and backend are operating properly, and the personal and financial information, including card information, is kept safe”.
The first failures were reported on March 14. The most common complaints were related to the operation of the app and website, and some users had difficulties in tracking the order. At the end of the day, the specialists “eliminated 70% of errors”. The next day, “80% of errors on the website and in application” were fixed.
