Yandex closed a deal to buy Uber's stake in Yandex.Eats, Lavka, Delivery, as well as in the business of unmanned vehicles and rovers. The total amount of the agreement was $1 billion.

The deal took place in two stages. During the first, Yandex increased its share in the business of self-driving cars and rovers to 100%, and also bought 4.5% of shares in the MLU B.V. joint venture from Uber. During the second stage, Yandex completely bought out Uber's shares in its services.

It is clarified that the companies will continue to jointly develop services for ordering a taxi, car sharing and scooter rental within the Yandex.Taxi group of companies. At the same time, Yandex received the right to buy out the remaining shares in the joint venture from Uber at a fixed price, for $ 1.8-2 billion.
