Yandex announced the start of testing driverless taxi in Moscow. The first cars will appear near the Yasenevo, Novoyasenevskaya and Bitsevsky Park metro stations.

You can call taxi using the Yandex Go application. At this stage of testing, the service will be available to a limited number of users over 18 years old. In the future, the number of drones will increase. The coverage of testing an unmanned taxi in Moscow will also expand. To participate in testing, you must submit an application on the project website.

On July 2, 2021, President Vladimir Putin signed a companion law to the law on experimental legal regimes, which makes it possible to start the piloting of the driverless taxi services.
