Yandex has published the source code of YDB distributed database management system. It allows users to create scalable, fault-tolerant services that can withstand a large operational load.

YDB can process millions of requests per second and maintain performance in the event of a server or data center failure. Specialists of Alice, Yandex.Taxi, Yandex.Market, Yandex.Metrics and other services work with projects using YDB. The code is available under the Apache 2.0 open source license.
