Yandex Reports Revenue Increase by 45% in Q1 2022

Revenue of Yandex in Q1 of 2022 grew by 45% compared to the same period of last year and reached 106 billion rubles.

Data by segment:

  • revenue of the Search and Portal segment increased by 25% and reached 43.8 billion rubles;
  • the gross merchandising value of the e-commerce segment grew by 164% to 64.6 billion rubles;
  •  revenue of the Media Services segment increased by 67% reaching 5.8 billion rubles;
  • the company’s revenue from smart devices sales grew by 32% and amounted to 2.2 billion rubles.

Gross merchandising value (GMV) in the Mobility segment grew by 40% over the reporting period and reached 167.4 billion rubles. GMV of other O2O-services (online-to-offline) in the first quarter grew by 92% and amounted to 24.3 billion rubles.
