Yandex launched the last-mile logistics management platform Yandex.Routing on the UAE market. With its help local retailers will be able to plan routes and take into account 200 operational parameters and constraints. The platform also takes into account the specific features of the local address system, where the exact addresses of recipients are not known.
The amount of investment for entering the foreign market was not disclosed. Yandex also note that the cloud solution and the technical infrastructure of the platform do not require large expenses in the new region and the product is available from any country.
According to the company’s experts, that the platform is used by retail, FMCG companies and companies providing courier services.
