Employees of the NTI Competence Center in the direction "Technologies of Robotics and Mechatronics Components" presented a digest on self-driving solutions "Who Drives?".

Key findings: 

• 1000 companies are working in the field of autonomous transport round the world, but only 40 of them are developing fully self-driving vehicles.
• In Russia, higher education in robotics and IT is available at 67 universities.
• In terms of the number of registered patents in the field of self-driving vehicles, Russia is in 12th place, and the leaders are China, the USA, the European Union, Germany and Japan.
