According to M.Video-Eldorado, the Russian smart home device market in the first half of 2021 reached approximately 1.5 billion rubles. During this period, sales grew 7 times in terms of the number of units sold and about 5 times in monetary terms.

The demand for smart home gadgets is generated by three key factors - the development of the range of products and the emergence of new models, the growing popularity of voice-controlled speakers that allow users to combine everything into a convenient system, and the general trend of improving everyday life partially caused by the need to work and study from home. The most popular products in terms of sales were the products from the smart light ecosystem, IP cameras, and smart sockets and smart remotes.

M.Video-Eldorado estimates that the market for smart home gadgets in Russia by 2023 can reach 5-6 billion rubles.
