Speech recognition device
The Device is created to provide a dialogue between people with hearing impairments or deaf-blind people and people without disabilities. Charlie recognizes oral speech and converts it into a text. You do not need to hold the device close to the face, as a set of highly sensitive microphones can catch sounds at a distance of 2 metres. The text can be displayed on the screen of any device, including Braille displays, so that a deaf and a deaf-blind person can understand the partner in conversation. Charlie uses the speech recognition technologies developed by the Speech Technology Center.
