The library is built on TensorFlow and Keras and is used for development of complex dialogue systems, as well as for research in natural language processing.

For this purpose, a specially created algorithm is trained &nbsp;on large arrays of documents and text records of dialogues between people provided by Sberbank. In the future such a system could replace, for example, employees of call centers, consultants and other specialists.

The Connectivity Standards Alliance, which includes Yandex and Sber, has released the first version of the Matter standard for smart home devices. It uses Wi-Fi and Thread and allows devices of different manufacturers to work together.

 
 Matter supports light bulbs, switches, outlets, window blinds and curtains, door locks, sensors, and TVs. The next versions will support other devices as well.

International Alliance of Developers Releases Universal Standard for Smart Home Devices

SberEntertainment, a subsidiary of Sberbank, plans to launch two new social networks: <a href="https://www.getchips.app/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">Chipz</a>, which is an analogue of TikTok for vertical videos, and <a href="https://punch.ru/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">Punch</a> as a service for creating and promoting music.

 
 Chipz will combine “a catalog of content, video editor and social network”. The service will have different templates (chips), which can be used together with the built-in library of music, movies and shows. It will also be possible to advertise and sell goods via the app. The developers plan to add the option of creating own user chips and mini-games. The company plans to release Chipz in September.

 
 The second social network, Punch, will become a “mobile studio” for creating and promoting music. It will include a neural network that generates lyrics on the basis of a few words. The soft launch of the app took place on March 14.

Sber Prepares to Launch Two New Social Networks ― Chipz and Punch

Sber announced the completion of the first transaction for issue of digital financial assets for SberFactoring on its own blockchain platform. The issuer’s obligations are secured by receivables transferred to factoring services. The digital financial assets are issued using the smart contract - an algorithm that controls compliance with the conditions laid down in the decision on issuance of DFAs including the amount, term and yield of the issue. The platform is currently operating in pilot mode.

 At the end of June, the first DFA transaction in Russia <a href="https://ict.moscow/news/laitkhaus-i-vtb-faktoring-proveli-pervuiu-sdelku-s-tsfa/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">was carried out</a> by the Lighthouse fintech company and VTB Factoring. As part of the transaction, the issuer’s commercial debt was tokenized, and after that VTB Factoring fully bought out the issued DFAs.

Sber Completes First DFA Transaction on Blockchain Platform

VK and Sber may divide the assets of their joint venture O2O Holding for onward sale. VK may get Delivery Club, and Sber may get Samokat and Citydrive.

 
 According to the source of Forbes, the assets of the joint venture do not fit into the development strategy of VK, which focuses on social networks, video and instant messengers. According to another source, when the assets are divided, Sberbank will get Samokat, which is “deeply integrated with SberMarket”.

 
 According to one of the interviewed experts, it is possible that Sber will try selling Samokat and Citydrive to Yandex, because “this will be a logical place for these businesses”.

VK and Sber Discuss Division of Joint Assets in O2O Holding for Further Sale

VK and Sber are considering selling the Delivery Club food delivery service. Yandex may become the potential buyer. However, the companies do not rule out the option of exchanging assets.

 
 Yandex can exchange Delivery Club for Yandex.News and Yandex.Zen services, but only if the current owners agree to leave the company as a result of the deal. Yandex, Sber, VK and Delivery Club do not comment on the information on the possible exchange.

 In April, Yandex <a href="https://ict.moscow/news/iandeks-dogovorilsia-s-vk-o-prodazhe-servisov-iandeks-novosti-i-iandeks-dzen/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">signed</a> an agreement with VK on the main terms of the sale of Yandex.News and Yandex.Zen services.
