SkyGuru provides real-time comments on all processes and stages of the flight. The app receives information about the flight from sources used by airline companies during flight planning. This information is downloaded before the flight if the user has Internet access.

The app uses iPhone sensor and algorithms and identifies current stage of the flights and provides commentary (about incoming turbulence, weather updates and airplane motion). The application uses predictive analytics. Onboard a plane the app works in airplane mode.
