<p>Smart CardReader allows to automatically recognize the number, date and name on all types of bank cards. The system does not require connection to the internet and does not store or transmit the recognized bank card data. Solutions based on Smart CardReader can be used to recognize club, discount, transport and other types of plastic cards.</p>

<p>Integration of Smart CardReader into payment services make it possible for the users to automatically enter bank card data for payments, money remittances and other financial operations in mobile apps and on websites. Processing time is around 1 second, and the number recognition accuracy is not less than 99.61%.</p>

    The solution for user verification, developed on the basis of software products of the Moscow companies <a target="_blank" href="https://ict.moscow/en/cards/?tags=VisionLabs">VisionLabs</a> and <a target="_blank" href="https://ict.moscow/en/cards/?tags=Smart_Engines">Smart Engines</a>, is integrated into the mobile application of one of the largest banks in the UAE, Emirates NBD. With this application new customers can register and open accounts remotely. Remote user verification is implemented on the basis of a complex technical solution - Digital ID. Real-time face recognition and ID document scanning allow you to speed up the registration process.

    To open an account, you need to scan your passport or ID card in the bank's mobile application. Then the system will automatically fill in all the required data in the application. At the same time, to confirm the identity, it is necessary to take a selfie: the face in the frame is recognised and compared with the photograph on the document.
</p>
    <p>
    As the developers assured, the security of processing personal and biometric data is guaranteed through the use of artificial intelligence technologies. Everything is performed on the user's phone without transferring images to the Internet.
</p>
    <p>
    According to Anton Nazarkin, Director for International Development of VisionLabs, the product may be in demand not only from banks, but also from government agencies, insurance companies and healthcare organisations.

    The Moscow developer of recognition systems&nbsp;<a target="_blank" href="https://ict.moscow/en/cards/?tags=Smart_Engines">Smart Engines</a> &nbsp;summarised the results for 2020.&nbsp;
</p>
    <p>
    In particular, this year the company introduced a new generation of Smart Vision Engines recognition systems for automatic data extraction of ID documents, bank cards, barcodes, business, biometric verification and computed tomography of documents. The company's turnover exceeded 247.5 million rubles (equivalent to&nbsp;$3.3.million) which is 2.18 times more than in 2019. The export of AI technologies outside the countries accounted for 26%. The number of recognitions sold was 91.9 million, up 80% last year.

    <p>
    The company's client base has grown by 40% compared to last year. Smart Vision Engines software products are used for user identification, remote service, optimisation of business processes and development of payment services around the world, including the USA, the countries of the European Union, Asia, the Middle East and the CIS.

Smart Engines became the first developer of recognition systems based on AI to join the UN Global Compact

<p>Computer vision is a system based on OCR, computer vision and machine Learning technologies. API solutions will allow to use the system for the following tasks: fuzzy search of similar images, motion detection, non-format document scanning on mobile devices, holographic elements detection, determining the vehicle type, traffic lights color recognition and tags recognition. </p>

<p> Information is recognized in real time and the system does not require connection to the internet. On the basis of the technology <a href="https://itunes.apple.com/ru/app/smarthelper/id972688836?ls=1&amp;mt=8" target=«_blank»> a mobile app</a> SmartHelper (for IKEA) for iOS and Android was created, it can recognize the set number, row and place of the product in the warehouse from IKEA tags.</p>

System based on OCR technologies, computer vision and machine learning

Computer Vision

<p>Smart PlateReader ensures license plate recognition on mobile devices. The technology allows to recognize car plate number in smartphone and tablet apps very quickly. Only the operative memory of the device is used during recognition.</p>

<p>The time for recognition is estimated at 50 ms - 2 s (depending on the device). The area for implementation of the solutions based on Smart PlateReader are insurance companies, social and state services that detect traffic violations, car sharing services and others.</p>

<p>Smart ArchiveHelper is a range of technological solutions which allows to create an online archive with automatic document classification and checking the completeness of the set. It also allows to process the existing image archives, reducing the size (to up to 90%) and increasing the informative value of the contained elements.</p>
