In Moscow, over the year, the average speed of mobile Internet increased by 4 Mbit/s, up to 40 Mbit/s. This is 1.8 times higher than in the country. In general, in Russia, this figure was 21.7 Mbit/s, according to a study by Telecom Daily.
In terms of the speed of transferring mobile data to the subscriber in the capital, MegaFon is in the lead with 56.1 Mbps, MTS is in second place with 43.1 Mbps, and Beeline is in third place with 40.2 Mbit/s. Tele2 is the fourth with 25 Mbit/s.
Earlier it was reported that the average Internet speed in the Moscow metro at the end of 2021 decreased by 4.5 Mbit/s, to 31.6 Mbit/s. At the same time, according to the assessment of the quality of communication services of the "Big Four" operators in the capital, Beeline takes the first position in the rating. MegaFon and MTS are in second and third places, respectively, Tele2 is in fourth place.
