The results of the annual Russian award for data-driven organizations and chief data officers in the field of data management were announced in Moscow.

Awards were given to:

• K-SkAI “for creating a new data-driven business model”. The company offered medical organizations and the regions of Russia to connect to its Webiomed AI platform in exchange for the right to collect anonymized data;
• Severstal “for improving business efficiency”. The enterprise optimized the work of the sheet-rolling mill using AI, and by doing so earned an extra 1 billion rubles;
• DIS Group “for achievements in the training of data management specialists”. Last year, 500 people were trained at the center of the company, more than half of them specialized in data governance;
• Tele2 “for data quality assurance”. The operator used Alation catalog, RT.DataGovernance tool and Ataccama data quality management platform for the company-wide data management system.

The list of winners also includes SMARTS, Orlan, Sberbank, Polyus, ANO Digital Region and the Agency for Strategic Initiatives. 60 projects were admitted to participate in the contest, 49 of them reached the final stage.
