Kismet Capital Group acquired a full share (100%) of the infrastructure operator Russian Towers. The termsof the deal have not been disclosed.
As a result of the deal, Russian Towers will enter into the merged company New Towers, which will be created on the basis of another tower company, Vertical and First Tower Company. The number of new tower facilities of the merged company will exceed 30 thousand.
According to Ivan Tavrin, the owner of Kismet Capital Group, the company is ready for an IPO. There are also plans to enter new markets.
It was announced in November that Kismet Capital Group is negotiating the acquisition of Russian Towers. At the same time, at the end of October, it was reported that MegaFon and Kismet Capital Group had agreed to create an independent federal tower operator.
