Food retailer Magnit prepares for a pilot launch of its own virtual mobile operator Magnit Mobile at the end of the first quarter of 2022.

The first region where testing will be carried out may be the Rostov region. Earlier, the company received a license for the provision of communication services and numbering capacity.

The virtual telecom operator will become part of the development of the Magnit ecosystem project and the mobile application, the superapp. Now it integrates a loyalty card and Magnit Pay payment service.

In June 2020, it was reported that Magnit was in talks with Tele2 to launch a virtual operator.
