Severstal, Highland Gold and the Ural Mining and Metallurgical Company, together with Rostelecom, are considering the joint development of specialized software. The joint venture will supervise the work. The investment amount may exceed several billion rubles within three years.

The first solutions will deal with the ‘critical functionality’. Specialists also plan to analyze existing solutions, formulate uniform requirements of market participants for software, prepare a road map for the development of software products adapted to the realities of the Russian mining industry. The created solutions can be commercialized both in the Russian and foreign markets.
