The share of mobile traffic in Russian Internet has reached 83% last year, according to analysts from the SlickJump agency.
In January and May 2021, its share decreased to 77% and 75%, respectively. By December, the figure rose to a record 83% since 2020, when the share of traffic from mobile devices began to grow rapidly.
Experts attribute the increase in the number of mobile users to a change in the content format. According to analysts' forecasts, "the share of mobile traffic will stop at 85-86% by 2025." At the same time, it may increase with an increase in the shortage of components for the production of electronics.
