MTS presented a robot controlled via VR-glasses over 5G
MTS presented a robotic telepresence system based on a domestic virtual reality helmet, mobile platform and 5G data transmission during CIPR 2020.
The solution is based on the development of a VoltBro startup, a resident of the MTS 5G Center.
New generation networks have significantly increased the reliability of communication, which is necessary in the event of emergency situations.
Robotic system is currently undergoing an active testing phase; MTS has not yet commented on the plans to use the robot.
