Rosatom State Corporation plans to launch its own virtual operator. According to Kommersant's sources, this is an MVNO project that will use the infrastructure, radio frequencies and Tele2 (Mobile Virtual Network Enabler) numbers.

Mobile services will be provided by Greenatom, a subsidiary of Rosatom, which has already received the appropriate license from Roskomnadzor for five years. It will take effect from September 2023.

According to experts, Rosatom can use its own virtual operator for new IoT projects, including for a smart city. In this case, you will not have to give partners the processing of data received from smart devices. Instead, Rosatom will be able to transfer them to its own data centers.
