Russia entered the top 10 list of countries in the world with the most stable segments of the national Internet service, according to the annual report of the network security company Qrator Labs.
Over the past year, the Russian Federation has improved its position in the ranking, moving up from 13th position to 10th.
According to the report, the maximum percentage of possible network failure in the country is 5.15%. Such a scenario is possible if the national telecom operator fails. In Russia, this is Rostelecom.
In the ranking, analysts chose the top 20 leaders from 197 countries and took into account the resilience of networks operating on the IPv4 protocol and the new IPv6. In the IPv4 sample in Russia, the share of networks that lose global availability if one operator fails was 5.15%. In the IPv6 rating, Russia took 17th place against 13th place a year earlier.
