Skoltech and the National Technology Initiative introduced ViNR video calls over 5G network without applications

ViNR (Video over New Radio) technology was developed as part of the joint program of the National Technology Initiative and Skoltech. It was launched in the 5G pilot zone of Skoltech.
The technology enables users to make high-resolution video calls without third-party applications. According to the developers, to make a video call, it is enough to open the standard Phone application, in which the Video option will appear.
