Rostelecom, Gazprom Neft, Rosatom and Roskosmos will jointly create the Association of the largest consumers of software and equipment. The memorandum on cooperation was signed at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum on June 4.

The Association will integrate the actions of the partners in interaction with government regulators, software developers and equipment suppliers. According to a press release from Rostelecom, the parties will also work on developing requirements for software and technologies, help manufacturers to improve products and enhance their competitiveness.

The activities of the Association will also optimize the companies’ and state corporations’ costs of searching for new Russian IT solutions and testing of these solutions.
