The Veon holding (the parent company of Beeline) announced the closure of the deal for the sale of antenna mast structures in Russia to the Service-Telecom Group.
Under the terms of the deal, which amounted to 70.65 billion rubles, Service-Telecom received 100% of the shares of National Tower Company JSC and about 15.4 thousand towers.
The companies also entered into a long-term agreement under which the operator will lease towers from Service-Telecom for eight years. In addition, the parties entered the build-to-suit program, which provides for the construction of 5 thousand towers by 2029.
Veon announced the sale of its tower assets in Russia in September 2021.
