Yandex Sells Yandex.News and Yandex.Zen to VK
Yandex has signed the term sheet for the deal with VK to sell Yandex.News and Yandex.Zen. The deal will have to be approved by the Federal Antimonopoly Service. “Detailed terms of the deal will be disclosed later,” the representatives of company explained.
In mid-March it was announced that Yandex could sell these two platforms. Then the sources of RBC reported that “due to the complicated access to capital and the changing economic situation, Yandex decided to concentrate on the development of search, technologies and city services”.
