Globosphere Russia conducted a study to find out how Russians use medical services, manage personal health information, and how often they use online medical services.

  • About half of the respondents use online services for scheduling tests and seeing a doctor - most of them use the websites of hospitals and clinics (20%), public services portals (19%).
  • 93% of respondents have never used remote consultations over the past year. Of those who contacted doctors via audio or video communication, 65% did it no more than two times, 22% - 3-4 times.
  • Residents of Moscow more often than residents of the regions use delivery from online pharmacies and pharmacies at clinics - this was reported by 17% of Muscovites.
  • 71% of Russians do not store their medical data. Only 29% of respondents collect and store such information, mostly on paper-based mediums.
