A unified biometric system, together with a login and password from State Services (Unified System of Identification and Authentication - ESIA), allows banks to open an account, deposit or provide a loan without the personal presence of a citizen. Banks can complete the digitalization of the customer journey, and citizens can now digitize their will and sign documents remotely.

A unified biometric system processes two types of biometrics: voice and face, and not separately, but together. Two modalities allow defining a “living person”, rather than imitating his biometrics in a digital channel.

The system can be applied in the financial sector, healthcare, education, retail, E-commerce, government services. The driver for the creation of the system was the national program "Digital Economy of the Russian Federation": to increase the availability of digital services for citizens in remote regions and people with limited mobility, while ensuring a high level of information protection, possibly only by introducing new principles for providing access to services.
