    LLL Venture, a factory (venture builder) for digital and preventive medicine startups, was created in Moscow. One of the founders of the project, <a href="https://www.facebook.com/evgeniy.larionov.5" target="_blank">Evgeniy Larionov</a>, <a href="https://www.facebook.com/evgeniy.larionov.5/posts/3795669717157176" target="_blank">wrote</a> about this on his Facebook page.

    The fund is ready to allocate up to 6 million rubles for the development of each startup, and it acquires 10-30% stake in the company. Acceleration is also offered as part of support for startups.

    LLL Venture is interested in projects in digital health and preventive medicine, which are at the stages of pre-seed and seed development and started to test their hypotheses, and are also ready to reach the next round of investment in 6-9 months. The company plans to collect 15-20 projects within a period of three years.

    The development of the LLL Venture project started in 2019, and the promotion of startups within the factory started in April 2020. A venture builder for startups in digital medicine was launched in Moscow

    In 2020 the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation will allocate
$92.2 million for grants for developers of Russian digital solutions. Both
developers of IT products and companies involved in the implementation of
solutions will be able to apply for the grants. Startups will be able to
receive up to $260 thousand,&nbsp; and $3,8 million will be allocated for large initiatives.<b></b>
</p>
    <p>
    The
contests will be held by the Skolkovo Foundation, the Russian Fund for the
Development of Information Technologies (RFRIT), and the Innovation Promotion
Fund.
</p>

    <li>Within the Innovation Promotion Fund program, IT startups in artificial
intelligence, the Internet of things, blockchain, new production technologies
and other areas will be able to receive grants (up to 20 million rubles).</li>

competition among projects which are “in more mature stages” and are involved
in software development, including telecommuting services, platforms for online
education and healthcare. Such projects can receive

The Ministry of Digital Development will allocate $92.2 million for grants for IT projects

    <p>
    Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation plans to create and maintain a new state register with information on the activities of IT startups, Kommersant reports with reference to the draft amendments to the law “On Science and State Scientific and Technical Policy” developed by the department.
</p>
    <p>
    The register will become the basis of a digital platform for state support for startups and will unite disparate data about companies from information systems of government agencies and organizations. With the permission of the startup, all interested organizations and development institutions will have access to its “digital footprint”, which should accelerate the application process and obtaining state support, Deputy Minister Oksana Tarasenko explained.

    Against the backdrop of the COVID-19 pandemic, the state intends to increase the number of grants issued to the IT industry. For example, until 2024, it is planned to distribute around $607 million among the developers of “cross-cutting technologies” - big data, the Internet of things, etc., including in the form of grants.

The Ministry of Economic Development plans to create and maintain a state register of IT startups

<p>According to StartupBlink <a href="https://report.startupblink.com/" target="_blank">rating</a>, Moscow entered top 10 world cities with the best startup ecosystems, moving up four ranks compared to 2017. San Francisco was ranked first, followed by New York and London.</p>

<p>Some other Russian cities increased their positions in the rating, for example, Irkutsk (+61), Perm (+57) and Saint-Petersburg (+52). In the overall rating Russia moved up 3 positions and took the 15th position.</p>

<p>When compiling the rating, experts took into consideration the number or startups (any company applying innovative solutions), accelerators, coworking spaces, events for entrepreneurs and also the country’s business climate.</p>

The new section presents 52 Russian practices of technology application in various fields. Practices of the Federal Tax Service of Russia, Sberbank, Norilsk Nickel, the Moscow Government, Rostelecom, Kaspersky Lab, Russian Railways, S7 Airlines, M.Video, Megafon and others are included in the section.<br>
