Moscow DIT Listed Focus Areas for 2023

Moscow Citywide Wi-Fi network has reached the ninth anniversary. The network contains more than 24,000 Wi-Fi hotspots and is available within the Garden Ring and the Third Ring, as well as in almost 1,000 facilities and organizations. In 2022, about 800 new hotspots have been added, and the amount of traffic has exceeded 8 million gigabytes. The first Wi-Fi hotspot was installed at the Frunzenskaya Embankment in 2013.

Moscow Citywide Wi-Fi Network Working for Nine Years

All Moscow general hospitals provide telemedicical services. Since February 2022, doctors have conducted 600,000 consultations. The services have already been used by 380,000 patients. Now remote appointments are offered to patients treated at home from upper respiratory tract infections and confirmed COVID-19. Remote consultations are available via the EMIAS.Telemedicine app.

 
 Doctors analyze the patients’ condition, identify symptoms that indicate positive or negative dynamics and tell the patients which medicine to take, answer questions, and give recommendations. If necessary, physicians can schedule an in-person appointment. All data recorded by the specialist to audio protocol during the video consultation is available in the electronic health record.

Moscow Doctors Conducted 600,000 Remote Consultations

In 2022, more than 40% of radiology images in the medical institutions of Moscow have been processed using artificial intelligence. Last year this figure was about 30%. About 300,000 images are processed using algorithms every month. In total, AI-powered services have processed over 7 million images.

 
 In 2022, the algorithms learned to detect five more diseases, and now they help doctors find abnormalities in 13 areas of imaging studies. In Moscow, innovative methods for medical images analysis have been applied since 2020. The AI-powered services are integrated in the radiology information service of the Unified Medical Information and Analysis System (EMIAS).

More Than 7 Million Radiology Images Processed Using Neural Networks in Moscow

Moscow received the Most Ambitious Project award at the Russian national competition of the best digital transformation projects for the shift to proactive service delivery and creation of super services.

 
 The competition is organized by the Ministry of Digital Development and Kaluga Oblast government. In total, the event received 67 applications from the country regions.

The system of authentication and registration on the mos.ru city portal and access to information resources of the city Mos.ID provides an API for third-party developers. This allows legal Internet resources oriented to the provision of the Internet services for Moscow residents to use the system for login user free of charge.

The advantage of this entry system is that the data stored in the system is always relevant: personal data entered during registration on mos.ru (information resources access control system) is checked in state databases, identity is confirmed in the multifunctional centers for provision of public and municipal services or by linking a confirmed public services account and contains a large number of verified information (while social networks only confirm phone number and e-mail).

Consequently, one user can have only one authentic account, and companies can provide services online (for example, to provide the results of medical tests, taken at a private clinic, an extract from the credit bureau without additional confirmation of identity).
