Moscow Ranked World’s 2nd Most Innovative Hub in ESG Fields

Moscow took second place, ahead of Paris, Berlin and Barcelona, in the overall standings of cities in the European ranking of the Future City ESG Innovation Index, which assesses the ability of megacities to create and promote technological solutions in the field of ecology, management and social sphere.
Moscow became the leader in the ESG Public Administration category. The authors of the rating attributed the higher education system, the introduction of innovations and a large number of acceleration programs for startups to the strengths of the city.
In particular, more than 130 thousand technology companies and over 3 thousand active start-ups are concentrated in the capital, of which more than 350 follow the principles of ESG (environmental, social and corporate governance).

Yandex’s fastest supercomputer has 199 nodes and produces 21.53 petaflops. Located in Yandex’s data center in Sasovo, Chervonenkis has an optimized heat removing system. Ranked 19th in Top 500.
Based in Vladimir, it started operating in June 2021. It has 136 nodes and has a performance of 16.04 petaflops. Ranked 36th in Top 500.
Launched in December 2020, it has 137 nodes and produces 12.81 petaflops. Ranked 40th in Top 500.
The supercomputer is designed to train modern AI models on large datasets. Christofari Neo works closely with ML Space and Christofari platforms. The effective double-precision performance of Christofari Neo is almost 12 petaflops
