<p>Moscow high-tech solutions platform ICT.Moscow opened access to the <a href="https://ict.moscow/en/projects/ai" target="_blank">base of artificial intelligence </a>(AI) application practices in business for the world community.</p>

<p>175 Russian cases of technology application in different areas have already been translated into English. Each case has a detailed description of implementation, information about the developer, object for implementation, technologies and the results achieved. For the sake of convenience, all practices were divided in functional areas (manufacturing industry, telecom, urban environment, transport, social sector, MedTech, FinTech, etc.).</p>

<p>In addition, the collection of 45 Russian open datasets for configuring smart services is now also available in English. Among them there is a dataset for autonomous vehicles training in bad weather conditions.</p>

<p>The English version of the practices base will be useful for studying the domestic AI solutions market, main market players, sharing experience between Russian and foreign partners, and also for international rankings compilers and reviewers.</p>

<p>ICT.Moscow analysts collect data on Russian practices from open sources with the direct participation of representatives of Russian companies developing AI solutions. The <a href="https://ict.moscow/projects/ai/" target="_blank">Russian version</a>, that includes international practices, was launched at the end of February 2020, and in less than three months it has been viewed over 40 thousand times by AI experts and specialists.&nbsp;</p>

<p>In January 2020 ICT.Moscow and the Department of Information Technologies of Moscow <a href="https://ict.moscow/en/projects/5g" target="_blank">launched</a> 5G knowledge base in English. The project features a showcase of practices, which includes Russian cases of 5G implementation for solving various business tasks.&nbsp;</p>

<p>In Moscow, an artificial intelligence system that can detect coronavirus from x-rays has started working, according to the mos.ru.</p>

<p>According to Moscow mayor Sergei Sobyanin, the capital has started using computed tomography to diagnose COVID-19. To do this, 45 COVID centers have been deployed in the city, where CT offices work around the clock.</p>

<p>If the results are positive, this experience can be extended to other regions.</p>

    More than 30 thematic datasets about the city are available in the public domain. The selected indicators were based on two lists of smart city standards: U4SSC (<a target="_blank" href="https://www.itu.int/en/ITU-T/ssc/united/Pages/default.aspx">United for smart sustainable cities</a>) - developed by ITU of the UN, and ISO-37120 (<a target="_blank" href="https://www.iso.org/ru/standard/68498.html">Sustainable cities and communities — Indicators for city services and quality of life</a>). The indicators will be continuously added to increase the awareness of citizens, mass media, companies and experts about the goals of sustainable development of Moscow as a smart metropolis.

Moscow is reporting data on smart city standards

<p>More than 6.3 million electronic medical records are registered in the Unified medical information and analytical system (EMIAS) in Moscow. At the same time, the total number of registered patients in EMIAS exceeded the mark of 9.7 million people.</p>

<p>The electronic medical record contains information about the patient's diseases, doctor's visits, prescribed medications, and sick lists. The card is available both during a visit to the clinic and during an ambulance call. In the future, these cards will be used not only by doctors of clinics and emergency services, but also by employees of the capital's hospitals.</p>

MTS hosts a two-way, long-distance holographic video call over 5G

<p>According to StartupBlink <a href="https://report.startupblink.com/" target="_blank">rating</a>, Moscow entered top 10 world cities with the best startup ecosystems, moving up four ranks compared to 2017. San Francisco was ranked first, followed by New York and London.</p>

<p>Some other Russian cities increased their positions in the rating, for example, Irkutsk (+61), Perm (+57) and Saint-Petersburg (+52). In the overall rating Russia moved up 3 positions and took the 15th position.</p>

<p>When compiling the rating, experts took into consideration the number or startups (any company applying innovative solutions), accelerators, coworking spaces, events for entrepreneurs and also the country’s business climate.</p>

Moscow entered top 10 cities with the best startup ecosystems

<p>Experts call cybersport (as well as VR) a breakthrough in the entertainment sector. According to Newzoo report, in 2019 the revenue of the world games market will be estimated at $152.1 billion, 9.6% more than a year before.</p>

<p>In 2019 the Russian cybersport market might reach the $55 million, and in 2023 it will be over $100 million, as MTS previously forecast.</p>

<p>It should be noted that, according to the data presented by the Russian Public Opinion Research Center, 58% of Russian citizens have a negative perception of computer games, nevertheless, last year Russian internet users paid gamers about 11.6 billion rubles, Yandex and Data Insight stated in spring. The research also revealed that 3 million people are engaged in streaming and selling gaming products.</p>
