According to the CNews survey, the total revenue of the 50 largest IT providers in the public sector in 2019 amounted to $2.2 billion, which is 24.7% more than in 2018. The threshold for entering the ranking is decreasing for the second year in a row - in 2017 It was $3.9 million, in 2018 - $3.7 million, and in 2019 -$3.2 million rubles. The reason is the refusal of large companies that previously were the leaders of the ranking - ITG, Compulink, Elvees RnD Center, Appline (Aplana), and Dialogue Science - to participate in this ranking.
Rostelecom was ranked first - in 2019, its revenue grew by 35% to $635 thousand. SoftLine took the second place - the company’s revenue from projects in the public sector in 2019 increased by 10% to $158 thousand. Lanit with its growth indicators of 22.7% and $120 thousand was ranked third. “Fors” ($103 thousand) and Research Institute “Voskhod” ($93 thousand) took the 4th and 5th places respectively.
In 2020 the regions plan to spend approximately $2.7 million on digitalization and IT implementation projects, which is 31% more than last year.
