The experts drew attention to the need to introduce regulation of the industry, since the risks of legal uncertainty in video gaming in Russia remain high.

 
 According to the authors of the document, the owners of gaming platforms should be obliged to store in Russia information about the transmission of messages and images and information about users and the content of messages, including video and audio.

 
 Similar requirements under the Yarovaya Law have been in effect since 2018 for telecom operators and information dissemination organizers - forums, instant messengers, social networks and dating services.

 
 Moreover, the General Radio Frequency Centre experts believe that in the “context of preventing economic threats”, it is necessary to establish the legal status of game currency, loot boxes (paid virtual containers with random content), streaming platforms and donations (rewards from users).

Full-scale commercial launch in Russia and around the world can be expected in 2035.

The Ministry of Economic Development published the concept for regulating the activities of companies that develop various digital services based on one ecosystem. Yandex.Market negotiated the purchase of Private Trade, which manages the KupiVIP online store, Vedomosti reports. Moscow received a certificate of compliance with the standard for sustainable cities

IParkU plans to launch a
parking lot sharing service in Moscow by the end of the year. In May the
project will be launched in St. Petersburg.

 
 The service works as
follows: the user leaves a request in the app to get a parking place in a certain
location, another user replies to the request and informs when he is ready to
free up a parking space. A one-time parking search will cost 200 rubles, of
which 150 rubles will go to the account of the driver who frees up a parking
space.

 
 According to iParkU CEO
and shareholder Richard Stevens, by 2027 the market for smart on-street parking
in the world will reach $3.7 billion.

Parking lot sharing service can be launched in Moscow by the end of 2021

Neiry, a neural interface
developer from Moscow, attracted 541 million rubles (equivalent to&nbsp;$7,3 million) from the Project Support
Fund of the National Technology Initiative and external investors. The startup
plans to expand its presence in the international market; currently, the
product is being sold in the USA, Singapore and Kazakhstan.

 
 Neiry develops
neurotechnology and creates brain-computer interface products for education,
entertainment, industry, medicine and personal use.

 
 “In 2021, we plan to launch
a new version of SDK, which will allow developers and scientists from all over
the world to create their own software in which control using “power of thought”
will become available”, says <a href="https://www.facebook.com/tatiana.legaltech" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">Tatiana Aleksandrova</a>, CCO of Neiry.

 
 The company plans to
create several algorithms for analyzing brain bioelectrical activity: one will
be able to determine the level of human cognitive resources, and the second will
connect the brain and the computer. The collected data will be stored in
anonymized form.

Neiry, a developer of neural interfaces, attracted $7,3 million for scaling

MTS began to negotiate with developers to create Internet of Things (IoT) infrastructure in houses under construction. The first partner of the telecom company in this direction was the Etalon group, which focuses on residential real estate in Moscow and the region.

 
 One of the elements of the IoT infrastructure will be a system of seamless entry to the building&nbsp; and staircase (residents will be able to open locks via Bluetooth from a smartphone), water and electricity meters connected to the Internet and intercoms, calls from which come to the user's smartphone. The cost of equipping one apartment building with such systems is not disclosed in MTS. According to the interlocutors of Vedomosti, it could be 150-300 million rubles (equivalent to $2-4 million) per building (depending on the number of apartments).

MTS will equip houses under construction with the Internet of Things

MegaFon telecom operator acquired a stake in the Sharing Technologies startup, which will allow the company to enter the segment of software development for managing the radio frequency spectrum and communication networks in the future. 

 
 Sharing Technologies was registered in November last year. According to Igor Guryanov, CEO of Spectrum Management (which owns Sharing Technologies), the startup is developing software for managing networks of mobile operators: “The goal is to develop software for Megafon and, possibly, other operators. Now the product is at the stage of testing and approval."

 
 Sharing of radio frequencies by different operators is already used for the 4G communication standard and allows operators to optimise frequency resources using fewer base stations. According to experts, with the development of 5G, the technology will become the most in demand, since there is a shortage of frequencies for the new standard in Russia.

MegaFon acquired a stake in a developer of software for communication networks management

The Ministry of Economy published a draft of amendments to the law on information required to create a national data management system (NDSM), a key element of public administration within the digital national project. The document should create a legal framework for the functioning of the&nbsp;NDSM. It introduces the definition of both the state data and the system for managing it, describes the goals and procedure for its functioning. It is assumed that the NDSM will ensure the quality control of state data and the exchange of them both between government agencies and access to them for citizens and businesses.

 
 According to the project, the data management system will be based on three key elements:

 <li>the NDSM platform, which will become a unified information environment after the consolidation of data from more than 800 disparate state information systems (GIS);</li>

 <li>the digital analytical platform of Rosstat, designed to integrate the entire system for collecting statistics in Russia and become a single repository of primary data;</li>

The Ministry of Economy has prepared regulation for the creation of a national data management system

The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) has allowed communication operators (Rostelecom, Bashinformsvyaz, Beeline and Megafon) to conclude an agreement on the construction of 5G networks.


 
 
As stated in the message of the department, "the agreement on joint activities, if implemented, contains conditions for equal access to radio frequencies for all participants in the mobile radiotelephone market."
