The digital system that controls the disposal of construction waste (AIS OSSiG) allows specialists to track the movement of special vehicles carrying construction waste and make sure that soil, remains of construction materials and other resources were taken to specialized collection stations. The system is used to fight illegal dumping that harms the environment and the appearance of the city.
Carriers can take out construction waste only if they have a special permit. Documents for getting the permit can be submitted online on mos.ru. If carriers make trips without this document, they will not be paid.
At the first stage, the volume of removed waste was recorded at the specialized control and measuring stations. However, expensive and bulky equipment could not be installed at all the facilities, so the ‘Mobile KPTS’ (‘Mobile Hardware/Software System’) app was created.
To start a new trip, an employee of the construction venue has to enter the address and name of the object from which the waste is removed, the names of the customer and the general contractor, the number of the permit for the movement of waste, the type of waste, information about the reception site to which the waste will be transported, carrier and vehicle information in the app. After that, an employee takes a picture of the vehicle and the cargo: the neural network checks if the cargo is covered with a canvas cover and also checks the number.
